Anti-racism Committee
The Diocesan Anti Racism Committee was formed in complaince with a General Convention Resolution. The Committee's aim is to highten awareness of and systemicatally dismantle racism by providing education, training and resources.
We began in December 2006, with a day of training for those involved in the Deaconate program. We will provide ongoing training of trainers opportunities so that we will have a pool of qualified trained people to do the training throughout the Diocese. All Committees, Commissions, congregations, vestries, clergy, youth groups, will be invited to participate in the Anti Racism Process.
